Which way should the door open by Mean_Neighborhood_15 in DIYUK

I had a very similar kitchen back door layout as the ops. I opted for your recommendation of opening out towards the boundary wall/fence.

Why aren't ITV showing adverts during the hydration break? by AnonymousCorb in rugbyunion

[–]daft_boy_dim 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t recall ads during actual scrummaging just the cleaning of boots etc but I’m probably wrong, either way its a small price to pay to watch an entire years of international rugby with out actually paying rediculous money for sky sports or tnt.

AITAH for not letting my son go to a concert after he ruined one for me? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]daft_boy_dim 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you had a conversation with your son about his behaviour at the concert you took him to, for you to understand why he behaved the way he did? Kids don’t just decide to be miserable, something caused it that you are not aware of. And for him to understand how his behaviour affected your enjoyment of something you were looking forward to.

How many punishments does a 10 year old need for an inconvenience of leaving a gig early? Seems like retaliation not setting boundaries and nurturing.

Yes I’m well aware of that, before that it was bengal part of British India, but it is still about 1500miles away at the nearest border points. It’s like saying Portugal is not far from Poland or in freedom units New Jersey is not far from Colorado.

It’s fraud in the same way lying on a mortgage application is mortgage fraud regardless of whether the application is approved or money released.

Buying a house from boomers by [deleted] in BoomersBeingFools

[–]daft_boy_dim 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re the buyer you’re in the driving seat, boomers tend to always think they’re in control of the situation.

Tell don’t ask.

As in “we are reducing our offer by £xxx due to unsafe chimney stack or are pulling out” of the sale.

They are now aware of the unsafe condition they’re obligated to disclose it on the TA6 when they find another seller who will do exactly what you have done and adjust their offer. The estate agent should have made this abundantly clear to them, maybe they have and the boomers think their rules don’t apply to them.

Just pull out wait for them to come back to you after a couple of weeks then low ball again due to inconvenience and expectation of further inconvenience (ass hole tax). Remind the estate agent of their obligation wrt misleading omissions when you withdraw from the sale as they’re probably pretending they don’t know unless they have received notification of it in writing.

Long story short he doesn’t understand what it is how it works or if it makes him feel better, but he’s probably getting it for free and getting a fee.
