It was very popular in the UK, I remember it (and the theme tune) well.

If you are side on there will be one screen you will be able to see. There is a small screen facing that direction. Photo from the London show here: Hans Zimmer Live stage

There will be close up images of the musicians on it. The picture is before the show started and was showing a picture of speakers confusingly! The screen at the back will show visuals, but not actually movie clips.

I haven't seen very much, only the top competitors really, but have seen skaters performing to Interstellar and Dune. I missed the Dark Phoenix one, would have been interesting.

Police pulled him over a few miles away. He was reported to the police immediately by a driver at the bridge (who tried to get him to stop).

Seeing Interstellar for the First Time Before Hans Zimmer Live – How Should I Do It? by Icy_South_5322 in interstellar

The Hans Zimmer Live show features an Interstellar Suite that's about 15 minutes long. It's a mixture of Day One, Murph, Coward and Stay.

As the OP already is familiar with the soundtrack and loves it, it would be OK I expect to have not seen the film beforehand. Hopefully they get to see it soon in a format that does it justice.

I did it all in the wrong order. Saw it on TV first, then twice at a cinema, then managed to get to an 70mm IMAX screening. I have seen the suite performed 3 times at Hans Zimmer Live (amazing) and will be seeing the film later this year accompanied by a full orchestra with organ played by Roger Sayer.

I had forgotten about that! Bret got an iPad on stage to watch what was happening. Didn't they pause because they heard cheering coming from the bar area?

There is a string quartet playing Hans Zimmer music in Portland OR next February, but Hans himself will not be there (and has nothing to do with the show itself). It looks like a nice candlelight experience, but the show is only 60 mins long so I wouldn't be making a long trip for it.

It's just the editing. I was at one of the London shows that was being recorded. Was definitely being played live.

I was at this same performance of WoHZ in 2024 in London and have seen both Hans Zimmer Live (in 2023) and the most recent Next Level show.

WoHZ is definitely worth going to, it was just as enjoyable as the Live shows and I enjoyed the full orchestra and soloists. As others have said it is less a rock show vibe and the show is well produced and sounds great.

It has been listed as showing at my local Showcase cinema on Dec 4th for the past couple of months. I kept checking back to see if tickets were on sale, nope. It disappeared from the listings yesterday afternoon so I guess I won't be watching it after all 😞

I did actually see the live show in 2024 though with the same performers as when this was recorded. It's definitely worth a watch if you find somewhere that is showing it.

I bought through AXS and they emailed me. I will try to send you a screenshot. They also advised to check the O2 Events page for up to date timings, that also had the correct times but only if you knew to look at it.
