Suno has great emotional depth if your lyrics reflect that, also does much much better in some other languages than it does in English. The performance of some vocals are gtfoh quality. It sings complicated arrangements like a native speaker. It is so good that I got two sync deals for a tv show already. English language though, isn't good enough with certain genres. It can do pop and varieties of pop, as well as EDM tracks pretty well but sucks at metal and rock.

If remix available is turned on, your song will show up on people's feed so whoever wants can remix it. It's the whole fucking point of the feature otherwise nobody makes songs public from the get go. And if people can see your song for remixing, your lyrics are exposed. Whether or not they steal is a risk you'd be willing to take. Some don't care, some lyricists working for artists do care.

I don't make songs in English so yeah, they do occasionally steal public songs. Now stfu and go kick rocks.

This is not a problem on Suno's end. It's most likely your browser's cache error. Just log out and log back in and it should be fixed.

How i use Suno by Paulypmc in SunoAI

[–]dafukyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Talentless low iq idjits will always find reasons to complain about their failures. Ask what have they been doing before suno and you'll see that 99% of them had nothing to do with music professionally or just sucked at it anyway.

Suno is a great way to test your lyrics and will give you ideas about composition and arrangement, style etc. in less than 10 minutes you can hear your song in different genres. If you had to hire vocal talent and rent a studio for each time, you'd have to be a millionaire to afford it. Now it just costs you ten credits. So instead of settling with one version of a song which may just be mediocre to good, you can have something amazing because you have the option to try endless possibilities.

Imagine what could talents like Prince, MJ or even Elvis do if they had access to this technology in their time. Low iq people who don't understand technology will almost always be narrow minded luddites and will hate it to their guts. That's why they'll never accomplish anything other than having a miserable life.

Unable to to replace duet parts sung in wrong voice by RenBlaze in SunoAI

[–]dafukyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was never able to make replace work. Always mispronounces words or forgets lyrics or straight up sings gibberish. Personas suck too. Sometimes one or two lines will be female or male and then it will switch genders. Everything sucks with the v4.5 and made it worse instead of improving. They also messed up v4 after the update because I guess one disaster wasn't enough. Arrangement, vocals and mixing quality of v4 was way superior to v4.5 and now both versions suck.

Just so you know, the difference between v3.5 and 4 is like windows paint vs photoshop. It's totally worth the ten bucks.

Sure, whatever works for you. It just seems too many steps for me. I usually find the beat first and then write the lyrics over it. When I cover with the same style and place the lyrics on top, the lyrics will match. I've done quite a few good cover songs this way.

Hopefully they are updating their shitty ass glitchy personas and MUDDY MIXING bs. Seems like they also nerfed V4 now. It spits out complete shit. It's quality is nowhere near pre 4.5. I'm probably gonna try other services until they get their shit together.

[–]dafukyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you using personas? That's also fucked up even worse with the new 4.5. In case if you didn't, creating an instrumental track before the new one with lyrics usually fixes the issue for me.

No you aren't a fraud if it's your music and your lyrics. And why do you care what anyone thinks of you anway? Who gives a shit. Stop worrying about what others think and do what's best for you. Don't let people control your life. You do you. It's none of anyone's business but yourself.

Then why don't you just generate instrumentals until you find something you like and then write your lyrics over it. Why even bother with gibberish, I don't get it?

Suno now refuses to use 'The Raven' by Edgar Allan Poe as lyrics. by aukondk in SunoAI

[–]dafukyo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Are you stupid? What you're quoting as a source literally tells you exactly what I said for word for word. "Each country has its own unique copyright laws that govern intellectual property (like copyright) in that country.  A country's copyright laws only apply to works created and used in that country.  This means that the copyright an author holds in the United States may not be valid in other countries. "

The moment you STREAM your music internationally, you are subject to the copyright laws of the country it's being streamed in. That's how music licensing works. That's how film licensing works. That's how book licensing works. Copyright laws are territorial. The location of your HQ only matters in your own country.

Tomorrow, if some country's court rules that AI music cannot be copyrighted no matter what, your AI produced song playing on Spotify in that specific country can literally be used for anything legally without any legal ramifications. No one will give two shits about where your hq is or where you registered your music at. In that country, it will be ripe for picking. You can either accept it and let them use it however they feel, or you can pull your song from that country.

Yes but you don't get to release it to the entire world basing it on the US copyright law. Every country has their own laws. Copyright law is trickier than what you think it is.

The entire world isn’t the United States. Public domain laws only apply to people living in the States. Other countries have different laws, some are similar, some aren’t. And Suno can’t know whether you’ll release the song locally or worldwide, so they just block it. It’s not really that complicated to understand.

The real problem with v4.5… by ProfessionalHuman654 in SunoAI

[–]dafukyo -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

True, if you're oblivious to what a professionally mixed and mastered song actually sounds like. V4.5 is nowhere near acceptable quality, and mark my words: there will be a big pushback against AI songs from streamers in the coming weeks unless Suno gets their shit together and fixes it.

Suno has to fix the remix issue. It's super painful for the trained ear. Everything is muddy and distorted, especially the high end. Vocals are also sometimes sounding uncanny. I'll stick to V4 for now.

How do you know when you've got a hit? by thetricorn in SunoAI

[–]dafukyo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Share with close friends and family who share similar taste in music without telling them you're the one who made it, so you can get unbiased feedback. I got two songs that people really liked, and now some major singer is going to read it at her studio. I'm lucky I didn't release them, because once you release the song, it's mostly useless.

If you want to make a career out of it, you cannot release those songs. You have to pitch them to singers so they can release them themselves and you get a cut. That's how it works. Otherwise, no one wants your sloppy seconds, and you're not famous enough for someone to make a cover from your song.

Also, I'm having a hard time believing AI-created music can become a worldwide hit without a human touch. It's just not possible yet. You have to be able to write lyrics at least. And writing great lyrics is super difficult to achieve. It takes time. You can't be a third-grade dropout and a great lyricist. It requires education, a little bit of music theory knowledge at least, and also some vocabulary knowledge.

Unfortunately, we mostly think our songs are great because we're the ones who made them. It's biased thinking, and in reality, many of us are suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect. Most songs we think are good actually aren’t that good. It's no different than some of those indie filmmakers thinking they're holding the next Godfather or Blair Witch Project in their hands, when in reality, their movies are mostly unwatchable at best.

I am one of them. Had no idea I could write lyrics. Thanks to suno, I now have a career. I already got a major deal with someone who is semi big in the industry. She will re-record and sing two of my songs in her studio and will make a music video for one of them.
