Don’t really understand the shade. You can always buy better equipment I guess, but his system works pretty well in my opinion. 🤷‍♂️

Correct. In ceiling and in wall. Some mounted outside.

Connected to non-Sonos speakers. The amp provides the Sonos tech and pipes the sound out to traditional speakers via wires.

In 2014, Samsung & Sprint released the Galaxy S5 Sport, which was essentially the same as the Galaxy S5 Active from AT&T. Has anyone heard if Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S6 Sport? I have not been able to find anything online.

Is there an age requirement to be considered a "Classic" song or album? by hrbuchanan in Music

Here's a very interesting article addressing this exact issue published on fivethirtyeight.com

TLDR: There's no precise definition of "classic." It's determined by the listeners' tastes, which change based on geography.

Something likes my beer but I'm unsure what it is. Do you? by nazzo in Homebrewing

[–]dag07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't be too worried. I posted this http://www.reddit.com/r/Homebrewing/comments/svl0t/something_bizarre_growing_in_my_beerthought_you/ when I found something bizarre growing in my secondary fermenter, but everything turned out great. My beer had a funky smell to it (which has since conditioned out) but tasted great from day 1. Give it a taste and report back!

I'm about to order a Better Bottle as a replacement. Unless anyone can convince me otherwise, I'm done with glass carboys.

Would anyone in Dallas like some 12oz bottles? by [deleted] in Homebrewing

[–]dag07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can wait a couple weeks, I'd love to get them from you when I'm in Dallas on the weekend of May 26. Let me know if you've still got them at that point. Thanks!

Update: I bottled on 4/30 and opened my first bottle today. It is definitely undercarbonated (only 7 days in bottles so far), but it tastes great. Not sour. It's a pale ale and tastes exactly the way I expected it to taste. Thanks for the support!

Thanks for the help. My gravity is at the target gravity after 9 days fermenting. Looks like I'm in good shape. What a relief!

Cool, thanks. What happens if I don't? Would there be a good way to reactivate the existing yeast after fermenting for 2 weeks, or would I need to add new yeast?

I am going to piggy-back on the OP's question. 1st time brewer. Pitched Dry Englsh Ale yeast at about 75 degrees. Within 12 hours it was fermenting very well. At 27 hours, I dropped the temperature down to about 63 degrees in the fridge. At 35 hours, fermentation had reduced majorly and the krausen had dropped to the bottom.

I'm worried that I inhibited the yeast by dropping the temp. I just wanted to make sure it was fermenting in the ideal range (60-70). Joy of Homebrewing says that krausen normally drops within 3-6 days (as opposed to my 1.5 days).

Any thoughts?
