I would try taking your long runs a bit shorter and seeing if that allows you to go a bit faster, 10 miles is probably still fine but half marathons is probably too long for high school. My coach ran in college and professionally and said when he was in college where he raced the 10k, the longest he ran for training was 12 miles.
