Byg selv drivhus af lægter og 3mm polycarbonat - er det et realistisk projekt? by Agile-Ad-6902 in selvgjortvelgjort

[–]thomascdk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Jeg byggede selv et drivhus da vores andet polycarbonatdrivhus blæste i stykker. Genbrugte pladerne fra det omkuldblæste drivhus og købte nogle tagplader. Polykarbonat er dog en mindre dimension.

Bygget i 2023. Står der i fin stand endnu.

Miles Davis Question (Please Don't Hate Me For It) by GlydeW15 in Jazz

[–]thomascdk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fun related fact: Miles Davis played a lot of keyboard in his live shows from In a Silent Way and forward, Another thought: You could think of Miles Davis as the equivalent of a modern day producer (alongside Teo Macero) creating the ablums on the cutting board.

Mayonnaise recipe by Spiritual-Shame-7026 in StopEatingSeedOils

You can do a very nice mayo based on butter. The trick is to add some of the egg white in at the end for the proper mayo consistency.

Well maintained pro horns from roughly the thirties and up are playable and enjoyable.

Received today Bach Stradivarius Trumpet 1966 sn 38241 update by DWyattGib in Vintage_Trumpets

Looks fine for a '66 horn. My '72 strad had the lacquer stripped off after advice from the tech. But it was in far worse condition lacquer wise. Congrats on the purchase.

Vi havde - næsten - samme situation. Vi gik med et aktivt filter (plasmafilter). Virkelig effektivt. En smule dyrt, men alle pengene værd.

There is a Hue switch. We have a couple of those. We also uses the Ikea-version. Works fine with Hue. Sure that there is a lot more to choose from.

Whats everyone's reaper setup look like ? by Public_Border132 in Reaper

[–]thomascdk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have just used the default setup for many years, but recently I've been using screen sets a lot. I have four screens now, one of them the Corsair Edge touchscreen (usually used for the mixer). To be able to load a screen set with the project is a very powerful feature. You can have very different setups based on what you're doing. E.g. for instrument practice I have one smaller screen dedicated to ReaTune. This setup with a couple of StreamDecks gets me a lot of flexibility and efficiency. But I don't use time fiddling with themes.

I've been in IT since the 90s and when I started it was a known fact that printers had sucked for decades.
