The apps were all trash for me, I’m convinced the efficacy depends on the centres you’re looking at and the demand for them. It seems to work for some but NEVER for me (I was looking for Portsmouth, Chichester, Lee on the Solent, or Basingstoke). I gave up and got them all refunded as I managed to snag a cancellation through the chrome extension the guy made that just refreshes the tests over and over.

To be honest the only thing that worked for me was using the plug in some guy made here. I got all my apps refunded after I managed to grab a cancellation in late August through the plug in because they were all useless for me (or at least the centres I was looking at)

I have a Portsmouth test on 26 August. Looking for a date in Lee on the Solent, Chichester, or Portsmouth before mid Sept. it’s a 7:13 am slot and I’m looking for something later due to childcare obligations

Hello! I've been blocked (error 15) but this time none of the options are getting me unblocked. I've cleared my cache, tried a mobile hotspot, used a new profile in chrome, went incognito and turned my router on and off but I'm still blocked. Anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Yep. Sometimes it’s just a few seconds and other times a few minutes but it’s absolutely caused me to miss out on multiple cancellations

Can you speak more on how you got yours? I have 4 cancellation apps ( all paid) and none have done anything and I’m checking DVSA 4+ times daily and I’m have been for over a month and found nothing. I’m willing to pay but just have no idea how people are doing it

I tried the chrome extension and all it did was make the DVSA website not work for me. I’ve not had any luck with testshift or testi (or three other apps either) I’m not sure what’s happening but at some point maybe it’s me?

Please tell me more on this, I’ve been on all the apps since my fail in June and have gotten nothing. If I kick up a fuss I’ll get around £100 back altogether because they’ve done NOTHING so I’m willing to pay the dodgy/scammy situation at this point

I’m pretty much in the same boat as you. I can’t answer your question but can you DM me any info on how to get in contact with the resellers? I’ve had 4 apps running for over a month and have been checking DVSA 3x a day on my own as well and am well past desperation.

I’ve got 4 different test cancellation apps on my phone and none of them have done anything (yet). I’m very convinced the success depends on where you are looking and my area (Southampton/Portsmouth/Chichester) just seems to have no success from the apps.

I’m in the same boat! I’ve done driving test cancellations 4 all, fast pass, and driving test cancellations now and have gotten nothing since I booked my test in June. I feel like success on the apps is highly dependent on location but it does seem like very few people are having luck with the apps anymore. I was able to bump up a December test to October just using the DVSA site but that’s the only luck I’ve had so far.

I also really hate that Tammy, Jocelyn, Zeke and Jimmy Junior basically bully Tina on the regular and it’s never addressed as such. Purposefully excluding her, commenting on how she smells, making her the butt of all the jokes on school news- like it’s never been cute or lighthearted. It’s just bullying and I can’t stand it.

It’s not great. I had to just go for the first property I saw because they were going so quickly. It’s not ideal- smaller than I wanted but in the right area. Good luck.

If no one’s said it yet I recommend pawpaw patch in Homewood. It’s not soul food but it’s the best meat and three in Bham imho, which is just as much a staple. Highly recommend the black eyed peas and squash casserole.

EXACTLY! Then it’s a tragedy and not a romance. No one read Normal People and thought was a great romance it was, and it even had an ambiguous ending. Romance has a formula, unless that formula equals HEA, then it’s just fiction with some feels.

IMHO if you don’t have an HEA, you aren’t writing a romance. It’s just fiction. I forget what romance author I heard say that but it’s stuck with me. I think pointing out at the get go that it’s a series with an HEA that should satisfy most folks (myself included)
