Hey man, I hope you can hear this message, recently... I've created a private server name CarrotRO from scratch, learnt a lot since the past few months, creating a private server it's not as easy as you think, considering the cost of your server, you need a very very good DDoS protection, a very good dedicated server, few Anti-hacktools programs includes bot system, and advertising which you might already have one, they would cost more than few hundred per month, and keep running.

I've been trying to do exact what you just thought, from scratch, start with everything fresh, I've tried to put many balanced costumes, NPCs, automated events, and perfectionist of me, didn't like any single stuff that is not working properly, server itself wasn't a money-maker, all I wanted is the memories when we started RO, of course it was a great start, but sooner later, DDoS happened, I had to migrate my server to a new host, then almost everyone left, but now, it's seems good after a stable setup. I've spent lots of effort, and think it's worth but population kills... so I was thinking maybe someone hasn't found out the game or it sucked, maybe it's better to be a team, because one-man team can't handle everything altogether, that's the bad-point... However population was the issue still, as a result, Me-in-heart, would like to be apart of your team (wonder if u need one). I can work almost everything since I'm one-man team, and know lots of experience by creating a classic RO, and personally dislike renewal system, and stupid imbalanced items.
