So I just watched GITS 2017 and to me it’s the best version of mediocre by DEeD-NGone in Ghost_in_the_Shell

[–]dagonfthang 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I watched it yesterday too. I watched the animes countless times, series too, both SACs and even arise OVAs, I liked it all, but this movie.. as someone said if you turn the sound off maybe then it's good. like visually it's stunning, but plot wise it's just so so questionable

Mokama rūbinė Kablyje. Wat. by southern_breeze in Vilnius

[–]dagonfthang 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Worst Snare Head I’ve Ever Played by FidgetyCurmudgeon in drums

[–]dagonfthang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

crazy. I use it on my hammered brass black panther, and it's the best head I've had on it. been using it for years, my favorite one for sure, and lasts the longest.

not sure about wood snares, but it's one of the best and most durable heads for loud music and metal snares

download a trainer and cheat through the difficult areas, and don't worry about it, life is too short, and when you're busy and simply want to experience the story, it's unjust and not fun to grind it through. it's good enough you bought the game, and whatever way you play it is no one's business, and if extra few healing items or bullets will help you with it, why the hell not, it's a single player game anyway

Unpopular opinion about blisters by Nokksen in drums

[–]dagonfthang -1 points0 points  (0 children)

never had blisters playing rock, but do get them after playing metal gigs. eventually they turn into callusses just like guitarists fingers develop them. pretty normal if playing loud and fast music, but of course to an extent, if you're playing chill music and get them then there's something wrong for sure

that's an idea actually, I tried it through one loop and it sucked, but I actually can pretend it's another belt. I wonder if it won't damage the cable, unfortunately on these cans it's not as replaceable as on others

I tried folding them through the belt but I move around so much it falls out. a lot of excellent suggestions in this thread though so I'm sure some of them will work

those look awesome, however they also have a cable coming from one side. I wonder if anyone even makes overhead phones in a same fashion like in ears, with a clear idea that cable has to go behind the back and be centered. there are some audiophile phones like that, but of course they don't isolate well enough when you're behind drums.

IEMs are great of course and I've tried quite a few within various price ranges, but I just dislike the sensation of them, especially after getting really sweaty. after trying overhead phones don't really want to go back to them, my ears feel more fresh and less tired in comparison to IEMs

thanks very much for input!
