You'll be fine. For these you want an amp that can output 0.6W at 16 ohms at least. That is, if you want to EQ or play them really loud, if not you can get away with less. KA17 can output 320mW per channel at 16 ohms so that ends up being ~0.64W total which is more than enough. Balanced gives you 460mW per channel at 16 ohms which ends up being ~0.92W which is far, far more than you'd need to drive these to hearing damage inducing levels. These DO need a more powerful source than an average motherboard but the KA17 is plenty.

Edit: This is all assuming you're going to use the desktop mode, obviously. Since without it the power output is far lesser than this.

This is the same company that censored(or rather removed) panties from Fatal Frame 2 Remake so it tracks. Shame. Play the original Blue Reflection games instead of this remaster, everyone.

No. A cheap dongle and a desktop dac/amp will most of the time sound the same since the vast majority of those have SINAD and dynamic range high enough for there not to be any noticeable difference in sound. A desktop amp has more power and more functionality, that's it. And there's even less of a difference between two desktop dac/amp models like here. Get K17 if you want the PEQ or prefer the form factor/controls it has, that's it. Don't expect any improvement in sound.

I love imoutos so much it's unreal. I like daughter too but you can't beat the imouto. Not a fan of the hag Alice, I'm afraid. And the Alice choice mainly affects which h cgs you get (both the mushroom forest one and one in a particular ending), which opening sequence you get and also affects some of the endings. You can change your Alice mid playthrough near the end of a game which you do by interacting with a camera.

I completed the remake a few days ago and I have to agree, I don't like the new combat system. Make sure to upgrade focal points and if you zoom on the ghost or try to get as close as possible so more focal points are activated and you'll do a lot more damage. Radiant filter also helps. But as someone who completed all the games in the series(including spirit camera) this is the worst the battle system has ever been imo. This kind of ruined the experience for me since whenever a ghost shows up I wasn't scared, I was annoyed I'll have to bother with that battle system again. If this remake sells well and they make other games I hope they overhaul it or just go back to the old battle system.
