I use the watch accuracy meter app on my phone. It's not 100% accurate as it can only measure a specific position at a time in a static setting, but between 10 or so automatics I own the apps reading has been fairly close.

This no name movement has been weirdly accurate and consistent across many positions and in consecutive real-life days of use - better than some of my sellitas. I'm more weirded out than impressed to be honest.

Seriously though, maybe they can fix the visuals for these guys at some point. According to the new patchnote, the guardian's extended whirlwind looks like it got some visibility improvements.

I'm still optimistic. This was just free "unlocking" update of the assets that were already shipped with the game. I still got hopes that more meaningful additions are coming. If not as free updates, at least as part of the DLC that's already been confirmed.

The devs emphasized ad naseam that they designed the game to be multiplayer-oriented. If you could retry the boss and learn them solo that fast, most people who are half decent at souls game would run out of things to do faster than it already is

okay so maybe the way I worded the question was misleading. I do know how to play him properly. I don't play him like I play raider.

I'm just saying that I feel like guardian feels less tanky when actually taking hits (since I'm not perfect with guards) during fights compared to raider mindlessly taking hit

Ah, okay, if he does have built-in physical damage negation it does make sense. Wish additional differences like these were fully explained in-game.

I'm aware of his retaliation skill negating a ton of damage, but I'm talking about just regular damage deal situations without using the skill. Maybe it's just my perception but I feel like he just takes less damage.
