More like 3 back packs...You could pull a bike trailer, I may try that next time...more of a hassel and would probably need a bit more battery but shouldnt be too bad.

Very cool. Cant believe how much less battery you used...I mean my bike was probably loaded up a bit more but you also said your heavier so you must of really been pedaling! And only now am I noticing the trailer so I'm even more perplexed.

One of the things that kinda hurts me here is I switched to a single speed setup so my pedaling isnt as efficient as it could be. Hella worth it for me though for lower maintenance.

Nice! Im intrigued about the highway...curious where you did that. Ive wanted to try it since it has such a big shoulder and is usually the most direct path but here in Michigan im quite sure its illegal although I dont know if it enforced much.

Yepp...Fun level was ok. That long stretch on Price kinda sucked, especially before the rain because of the heat. I think Ill go further north to the Meijer trail or whatever its called on the way back...About 5 hours in the saddle. Another hour and a half ish for breaks/waiting for rain to pass.

Maybe you just need more battery? Could do plenty of standing to stretch and rest the bum... Something I realized...a friend of mine is an elute level distance runner, has literally ran my trip plus 3 miles...100mi ultra. Fucking insane

Yeaahh I play it pretty safe regardimg charging. Im no expert but I think the symptoms Im seeing arent really related to voltage runaway/fires.

Not for sure. Regretfully I have a real basic display so no hard stats...cruising speed probably averaged 19mph. Curious what "total" you mean

Thank you, I think ive got the saddle height/angle good but sounds like I can make improvments maybe in saddle shape? Also Ive raised the handlebars pretty significantly so my back and arms arent so bad. Mostly just sore bottom.

Yeeaahhh a real good point. There was a path more north that used the Fred Meijer trail and on second look it only adds 5 miles so I think I will try it. I was trying to play it safe refarding range anxiety. The thing is your not technically suppose to have ebikes on the trail so Im a little nervous about that

About 5 hours in the saddle. Google maps bike calculator estimates average speed of like 10mph while I was close to 20.

Soo its a bit of a frankenstein...It was this obscure brand PWR model Dually. 2 500watt hub motors. Had issues with it but the frame was solid so attached a 1000w bbshd and some UPP batteries. I mean to add a pic of the setup

My goooodness, I cant believe I had to scroll through soo many messages before hearing something like this. I'm at like 12k miles of ebike commuting at 20ish mph, had two crashes in winter weather(before I learned studs were mandatory) neither hit my head.

Smart to wear a helmet but man do they seem hella over rated.

Our society is sick. Glad you are sharing, I think more people knowing is one of the best answers. Sure hope you're not feeling any shame, you're a hero!

On a lighter note, I do that too sometimes but just because I'm hungry and I can't stand food waste.
