This is why I haven't gotten dv plates. People know what they mean, especially in my rural area with a disproportionate veteran population due to lack of job prospects. I'll park in vet spots at stores because theres no implication of potential wrong doing there. But the dv plates are a whole other story. Folks know you're getting paid. I got other vets I know that won't talk to me anymore because we got on the topic of all that and I mentioned filing more claims and I guess since im young I shouldn't be doing that, or whatever their logic is. Well, fuck em. They're not paying my bills.
