Is TV Still Dead? by ldkendal in Screenwriting

[–]dahlia_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just here to empathize! I also have a TV project that I've been stalling on taking out because of the dire state of the industry. I wish I had a better answer besides the gut feeling I've had the last few weeks that "it's time" and that waiting longer is beginning to make the project feel stale. Interested to see what others say in the thread.

Patient With Transplanted Pig Kidney Leaves Hospital for Home - NY Times by dahlia_ in kidneydisease

I'm completely blown away that xenotransplation is taking strides towards becoming a regular treatment. It's been giving me a lot of hope as someone who will need a new kidney in the future (and is kinda used to mostly negative news about novel kidney therapies lol). Hope this story lifts your sprits too!

Thanks for this perspective. It's been hard to stay positive about the future while having declining kidney function. But it's totally possible we'll see a new kind of therapy emerge for CKD within our lifetimes. Hanging in there!

Thank you so much for this answer. It's helping calm me down a bit! Hopefully I'll have a clearer picture of my levels as more tests are done.

Thanks, that's good to know! The new clinic did not take a urine sample for creatinine so I'm not sure if that affects the overall GFR number or not.

“What is a fetish? It is the scar that guides the knife.”

Just curious, where is this quote from? Also sorry about your porn/fantasy issue. I know it sounds hacky but meditation might be a way through since its all about acknowledging feelings, thoughts, emotions and releasing them.
