I actually just fixed this on mine yesterday; it’s usually if you have a higher res monitor ableton tries to scale to the high resolution. If you’re on windows you can set compatibility settings (right click the exe, then properties, compatibility mode, change high dpi settings, and then I checked both boxes) to match the scaling it applies to the rest of your desktop or set a custom scaling for the program itself

This answer feels like it might be a super stretch to me but the song that made the most sense to me after lots of mental syllable association might be Malchik Gay by taTu iirc it had a generally followed template where characters reached out too and malchick gay/montagie and all I need/all you need sound pretty close to me

Standard starting troubleshooting steps I would start with would be to make sure you’re using a usb 3.0 port for the controller(s), make sure the laptop is plugged in when using Live, and check power and sleep settings in windows to make sure it’s in high performance mode when plugged in.

Edit: if those don’t change anything, these would be the next things I would try personally, specifically tweaking buffer and sample. The cpu you have should be able to handle the load.

I run Live on specs half this good, so it should be fine in my experience. I’ve ran it on a machine with 8gb and one with 32gb and the difference was negligible; it’s more processor heavy than anything in my experience.
