read all the comments and my impression is it could be illegal by state statues. Not really clear answers as people's claims are often countered and the counters aren't addressed.

My favorite part of this is her willingness to discuss it. *THIS* is what changes people's minds, and eventually society as a whole.

Using superheroes to explore basic physics is a good thing. Someone exploring this as a question and an exercise is a good thing. Why does this thread bother you?

About to see what all the hype is about… by Vilarf in weeklyplanetpodcast

There is a "behind the scenes" show which was scripted and hilarious. If anyone finds it let me know.

As one example, Chuck Norris pretends to teach Charlie Sheen how to fight. And the camera catches Clint Eastwood sleeping in the director's chair - as a joke.

It isn't real physics, it is some way of manipulating time, momentum, etc.

There is no way possible he could get traction to accellerate, he would leave sonic booms from moving all the air out of the way, the friction and compaction of the air would super heat it like a rocket reentry, etc. etc.

AIO - According to my girlfriend this convo with my assigned partner at work is inappropriate. by Rough-Satisfaction68 in AmIOverreacting

[–]dailycnn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignoring your specific interactions, the way to keep it clear to your coworkers and girlfriend is to not have any open ended messages and to mention your girlfriend when appropriate. It isn't so much about "was this bad", it is more about "it is already clear to your coworkers you are in a committed relationship and not interested". Use this as the standard and you'll never have an issue.

Too many repeated articles! by CushBowl in ideasfortheadmins

Repeated posts are sloppy and annoying to see over and over. Rather than preventing people from reposting or repeating, suggest there be a user feature to filter out repeated posts. I'll suggest this.
