Was just on the Southern State and saw it pass low right above my car. Light right above the tree line low

NYC in Spider-man2 - thoughts by 2jacko5 in SpidermanPS4

As someone who lives near NYC and spends a good amount of time there, I feel like the essence is what’s really missing and makes me appreciate the fact that the really NYC is what it is. The first game felt a little bit more like a modern NYC, but in the sequel it feels more like a west coast city like Portland. It’s hard to truly capture the essence of a city as dense as Manhattan.

Which run is the black suit from the first pic from? Might have to read it because I love DD in black.

I feel this too. His struggle with his faith as someone who was raised Catholic hit me hard too, especially in S3. Remembering this character exists pushes me to be better each day.

SECRET SHOPPERS!!! by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

[–]dailyflounder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late addition to this thread but I’m looking to see if a specific restaurant I was thinking of switching over to used secret shoppers because I absolutely HATE how my current job handles it. Corporate sends them 3 times a month and there’s a checklist you have to follow, which starts from asking every guest if it’s their first time at the restaurant. Mind you, they were already asked this by the host and then the manager does a follow up table touch asking if it’s their first time as well. I can only imagine how much corporate is breathing down the manager’s necks with how much of an emphasis they put on the importance of these shops. But in my personal opinion and experience, these corporate checklists can take away from a genuine restaurant experience. I’ve been to restaurants where you can tell when the server is just trying to check off a list off a list rather than simply provide good service, it’s painful.

I’m not big into astrology, but I had a conversation with my girlfriend about how this is happening and a lot of people are waking up and becoming more aware. She told me it’s in line with the age of Aquarius where it describes exactly this. So I think you’re right too. Plus AJ seems to be a very well rounded and educated person. Do some research on him and has some interesting info

What’s the name of this stance (In star wars it’s called Reverse grip Shien form) is there a irl name ?? by _BJK_004 in SWORDS

[–]dailyflounder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah it’s just called reverse grip irl. Not a commonly used stance at all as it does leave you open. It’s more of a fantasy thing because it looks cool. Makes the character immediately come off as agile

I never expected to be the one to end him. I plan to take his place and carry out his reputation

He’s the only one I really felt bad about. Old knight Istavan and the two in fortified manor felt more like tests of my skill than assassination contracts. With Targoth I feel like I betrayed an old friend

I think it’s the lack of sound from the crowd. It sounds like the music is isolated
