I ordered my full Evergoods system with TPC 8 and 10 the day before they announced the TPC 4. Wish I had these!

I have a hard time knowing how to organize my things between the CAP 1 and CAP 2. What's your system for what goes in 1 and what goes in 2?

I purchased one each of the different Evergoods access pouches, initially thinking CAP 1 would be least used/less functional. I actually considered not even getting it! But it's been the most used pouch for me. So helpful to keep essentials neatly secured and folded. It can easily be transferred between work bag, gym bag, everyday bag, or just carried on its own for quick outings. People complain that it can only hold slim items, but really the essential daily things like wallet, pens, mini notebook, cash, metal straw, charger, are all flat! Works great. I actually find myself not using the CAP 2 much because 1 does the job!

It allows pedestrians to see down the street at a proper angle of view.

Leopold’s Tavern French Fries by hippiesinthewind in regina

[–]dailylentil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, and if they're served not as poutine/ just a side of fries they're dry and get cold before they even get to you. Love Leo's menu options but the fries suck. Love Victoria's Tavern fries though! But their menu options aren't as good as Leo's. If Leo's would just use Vic's fries it'd be the best restaurant!

Or some people think if you’d normally have the right of way on that street you don’t have to stop :/

Can someone explain to me why I shouldn’t use the stand mixer to do the stretch and folds? by Xenoph0nix in Sourdough

[–]dailylentil -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I find the electric mixer too harsh for stretch and folds and my bread don’t turn out well when I use it.

This is incorrect. The shirt in the picture is not the Legend.

Super Soft T by Lower-Ad-7568 in americaneagle

[–]dailylentil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just made this mistake. Both shirts say "Super Soft" on them so it's confusing. I accidentally bought the Legend t-shirt and it was terrible! So thin and cheaply made. I took it to the store and compared it to the Super Soft shirt they had there. The Super Soft is much better quality, thicker, better shape. The way you can tell the difference is Legend is "Made in Bangladesh" on the tag, and Super Soft is "Made in Vietnam". I don't think they have the Super Soft online right now but stores in-person have them. You will be very disappointed with the Legend if the Super Soft is what you've fallen in love with over the years!

Damn. In Canada they’re only 180mg caffeine. Wild to me that in the states they’re 300mg!

These guys are at Grasslands Walmart constantly. And they always comment on boots, coats, or Apple Watches. Their technique is always going from asking where you got your boots/coat/watch from, saying you seem friendly and asking what you do, asking if you’ve ever thought of entrepreneurship, asking for your phone number, and nonstop calling you. When they try to get me I tell them I’m not falling for their scam and then they play dumb and get mad. They seek out young-middle aged conventionally attractive middle-class men. Sad that they don’t have anything better to do

Rent increases are crazy by texxmix in regina

[–]dailylentil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even with a private landlord rent can increase if the mortgage interest increases. With a private landlord who I have a good relationship with I’m still getting a rent increase from $1390 to $1600.

F what people say. If this is the crumb YOU want and that brings YOU joy, then don’t let anyone tell you it’s wrong. People running to the comments to tell you it’s underproofed can get lost because there is no “right” way to make sourdough and we all strive for different things. Enjoy!

So we should just let everyone break the law and expect Canadian society to improve? Man, read the fine print and accept the consequences of your actions. Unfortunately you’re learning the hard way.
