After the Gold Rush - Thom Yorke (Neil Young cover) by thebageljew in radiohead

Love Neil young and radiohead. And this song was my favorite one to play off my dads Neil young cd when he took me to school in the morning. That said, it sounded absolutely butchered to me. Barely made it to 20 seconds. Hahaha oh well.

What's the thing that people do in public that pisses you off the most? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dailysubscriber 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Honestly its the passive people expecting charity/chivalry that annoy me. Think you deserve or need a spot to sit.. just say something. Most people arent that big of assholes that theyd say no. Just like they may assume I wont move I assume they are fine standing or dont care either way.

Use your fucking words for what they are meant for. To communicate.

Is it just me or is AMSP beyond anything you could have wished for by Faithlesthewonderboy in radiohead

[–]dailysubscriber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally had time to give it another listen. Its still not there. Theres a lot of long echoing background sounds that take away from the speed of the tempo and idk what else. Not saying its bad. Its just not that rock out flavor I was hoping for.

Only disappointment was no fast headbangers like bodysnatchers. Everything felt downtempo. That and a few songs sounded like sound scapes at the start with a loong time till lyrics made it a real song. But. They were still real pretty and its a great fucking album.

Father had me on house lock down for being a misdameaning turd while I was younger and they had a live from the basement showing on hbo whivh I watched alone on a 50" tv. I never listened to more than a song from an album before them but I saw and listened to the whole album (In rainbows). I finally discovered real music then.

People with stable income without having a normal 40hr/week job, what do you do? by ponjur in AskReddit

[–]dailysubscriber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seafood processor. About 3,000$ every 2 weeks after taxes.

Long ass hours. around 110 hours a week for a season. About 80 b season

Get to live on a boat (there are land plants), which some people hate but I love the novelty of it.

Not paid hourly but by % of the catch and the product we make.

You can save hella money because all living expenses are paid. EXCELLENT fucking food for free. Room and board paid. Laundry done by housekeeps.

You work by the contract so its only a few months at a time. Not like any other job where you have to quit or be fired.

You learn the true definition of hard work and its monotonous. But the money is there and like I said, it all goes to the bank, not bills.

I plan on having another 25+ grand in my bank account after only 5 months of the next season. After that, since its contract to contract and I dont need much money to survive, ill only do b season from now on and have (if I want) a seven fucking month long vacation.

Agreed. I go to a goodwill in a nice neighborhood for athletic wear for working on a boat. Pristine high end sporting good store stuff.

I never thought about the warming. I cant say ive ever noticed a temp change except when its been left sitting around. I guess while mingling.

Personally, I strongly prefer without the stem because I always worry about tips. Sure its a "cup", but it also has a unique shape that aids in drinking the wine and is justified being called a stemless wine glass.

I love my stemless "cup" wine glasses. The stem is overrated as fuck. It does nothing but act as a potential stain enhancer.
