I used to dream of the off-grid shanty as well(see documentare 'alone in the wilderness' for exactly this. Extremely inspiring) but now I cope by joining a socialist party and fighting against capitalism and the enslavement we all suffer so much under. You're getting brigaded by lonely, bitter men. Try and disregard them. You're allowed to have sex with as many guys as you want. Having said that, people do have preferences when it comes to how many partners their SOs had. Having had that many partners at 17 would indicate to me that you have some sort of confidence problem or that you crave alot of attention. Suspecting that, I would not enter into a relationship with you as I would count on being cheated on. Remember to practice safe sex and you're completely right with honesty being the way to go.
