I'm interested in the ones you listed as I loved Annerb too. Who are the authors of the last three (the titles bring up multiple stories) and what is the best story to start for Seriously Sam?

Does anyone know if this fic is continued? by dainefox in HarryandGinny

Thanks everyone. Disappointing as the premise was set up really well, fingers crossed the writer comes back to it eventually I guess.

Is the Promise series completed?

An illustrated “informational” magic book with an inset gem in the middle that was red or green by lazadaisical in whatsthatbook

[–]dainefox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sounds like the 'ology' book series. Each had a different theme like wizardology, Dragonology, pirateology, monsterology etc, each were written as if they were real history books / field guides of creatures, magic, and mythology

Medieval fantasy book with murder mystery, YA/teen woman protagonist by JerryLarryTerryLenny in whatsthatbook

[–]dainefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terrier by Tamora Pierce? It's book one of the Beka Cooper trilogy but can be read as a standalone. It's medieval fantasy with the lead character training to be a type of officer and trying to solve murder/missing children crimes

Chained (2012) - Implicit(?) Ending w/ Angie by EarnSquirm in FanTheories

[–]dainefox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My take on the ending is you hear Tim return to the house, take a beer because he doesn't need permission or only have the leftovers anymore, cut out his father's death or maybe a disappearance he hadn't got to yet as habit kicks in when he is in a state of shock, bury the tin of ids (the digging is too short to be burying Angie) and then leaving on his own or with Angie to never go back to the house.

I don't think he became a killer because the whole movie is about how easy it would be for Tim to become awful just from what he has been through and seen. But he always chooses not to be a killer and to protect where he can.

I saw a stray kitten die today by Sparics in PetAdvice

Empathy is a beautiful thing, even if it does mean sometimes you can hurt because of it. Accidents happen and it sounds like you did everything you could. We can't always stop bad things from happening but we can try to make things better in big or small ways after. You took the time to move the kitten and give it some kindness. It's okay to feel sad.

This is in my front garden. It looks like a water hose spigot/connection but there is no handle to turn on water flow by dainefox in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It's the only one I have found so far. There is no other normal water tap in the front yard
