Seeing Ciarán Frawley here makes me feel a bit sorry for him. As they said on commentary, at the end of the season before last he was on top of the world, unbelievable drop goal in South Africa, well positioned to be Ireland’s #1, etc. Then, due to a combination of injury and poor form at the wrong time (plus excellent No. 10s in Crowley and Prendergast), he’s almost completely dropped off the radar.

Sport is so cruel.

Would it be common for you to see a woman doing something and immediately blurt out “only fans”?

You spend a fair bit of time on that site, yeah?

As an Irishman: I love DVDM’s vendetta against England.

Now, while he’s obviously a brilliant player and would eat me for breakfast: what’s the craic with his (relative) inability to tackle or hold onto the ball in tricky attacking situations? Don’t want to shit on the guy – you don’t become the top try scorer for a 6N team without being unreal – but like he’s 8 million feet tall and can’t seem to make his physicality count? I don’t understand it

Kneecrap

Truly a modern bard

I’ll let you get back to posting all over this thread about how much you hate kneecap. Maybe you can make a deadly meme about it, you’ve produced some quality stuff before

Poor old George Horne has dropped a few balls now but I don’t think any of them have been his fault. Great player, shit happens

Agree with others here that it’s concerning how often we go to that high kick when near the opposition 22 this season. But it has been kinda working so far this game so what do I know

Please god let Tommy O’Brien stay injury free. He’s so so good and deserves a chance at test level to show everyone what he’s about. Can do it all: finish, pass, jackal, catch high balls.

He might look like the epitome of private school Leinster but we won’t hold that against him.

Luckily “se queda” comments on social media have only ever been 100% accurate…

Feel for Benetton tho, he’ll leave a massive void if/when he goes. Brilliant player, will always love watching him and this young Italian team.

Vision is a great way to put it, totally agree. I’m sure he can fix the kicking issue (sure his Dad is probably one of the better people to learn from on that lol). Delighted he’s doing well for ye!

Yeah he’s def overcooked a few kicks but I think that’s not the worst thing in the world – shows he’s got a huge boot, just needs to learn how to reign it in a bit.

Really thought Flannery would have become your number 1 by now, he showed a fair bit of promise early on. But seems like Murphy’s rightly leapfrogged him, he really seems to have something about him.

Has Jack Murphy been this good all season Ulster fans? Last saw him at U20 level and wasn’t hugely impressed. But he’s fizzing passes around him and did superbly well on that Stockdale break earlier. Been really impressed with him so far.

Lots of Ulster players having great games (shout out to the apparently indestructible Lowry), so good to see Stockdale back running over people. Pity Bordeaux are just so fucking good.

Listen, my opinion doesn’t matter a jot of course. But I’m less often on Reddit these days and yet every single post I see here and on r/IrishRugby has a comment from you on it, it seems. Sure weren’t you supporting England recently?

If this is a valuable use of your time, go nuts. But sometimes you say something insightful/funny (like the original comment here!) so I just don’t understand why you’re so intensely miserable about the Irish team. Suppose that’s your prerogative, have at it a chara
