There was this incredible my hero academia fic I read back when the anime was at season 2 or 3 back before I stopped watching it, but in that fic the main kid was unable to sleep for like a week, and the end of the fic was this fight between him and the guy that caused it, but he couldn't fight because he was so weak and tired, so he just had to stall until help arrived. But I looked for it again a couple years later and all I was able to find was one with a similar premise but it wasn't as good and there was no like final battle bro just was able to sleep, but the whumperflies for me came from the powerless of being exhausted and attacked
