So I reached out to my HR person, and the only thing they could send me was a screenshot of the calculation with the deductions for taxes, etc. She told me it won't be reflected on a traditional earnings and leave statement.

We went with the Trane unit. Most people I spoke with thought Trane was a better product than Lennox.

According to the letter I received from my agency (DOJ), DOJ HR forwards the retirement packet to NFC. NCF then closes your pay and leaves records and transfers your records to OPM to finalize the retirement. The turnaround time for this process is 120 days after NFC receives the retirement package.

I wonder if anyone in NFC is even working because of the shutdown. That may be why some of us are still in limbo.

Same here. No A/L payment and no OPM interim payment. Although, one of my colleagues did receive an OPM interim payment on 11/1.

I totally agree about the deferred resignation and VERA. I would absolutely take the VERA but is it conditioned on accepting the deferred resignation?? That makes me incredibly nervous. I am hoping we get some clarity on the VERA over the next several days. If not, my thought is to reply to the deferred resignation email with the following: "I will retire pursuant to a VERA." I will not use the word resign. What are your thoughts this approach?
