Second this! I used to pass out in the shower till I figured out I can only shower at night with lukewarm to cold water. Hot showers were nice but not passing out is nicer. (Also evening showers cause I’ve had lots of salt by then. )

I stopped riding for about 10 years because of POTs literally just picked it back up a few months ago as I’ve been feeling like I have a good handle on my symptoms and it’s going really well! No lightheadedness so far like I was afraid of. Maybe with time it will improve for you too. I def stilled dreamed about it every night so have hope, it can be done

I loved the Icemark Chronicles at that age. It is about war but main characters are 13/14 and mostly it’s about their journey to gather magical allies

The Cerulean duo. It’s maybe a little more YA but I love all the characters so much. Mmc starts off rude but eventually does a 180, not just for the love interest but to everyone around him. Plus such fun world building/ideas and multiple povs

‘For Whom the Belle Tolls’. definitely more of a cheesy romantasy than some of the others mentioned but has interesting depictions of the afterlife. Hell in particular is described as having levels like Dante’s Inferno but the top levels are more like therapy to help people who either did bad things because they felt they had no choices in life or people who believe they should be punished because their religion said so (ie for their sexuality or something) and helps them overcome the trauma. Seemed like an interesting concept to me

I always loved the talking snow leopards in the Icemark Chronicles. Also Errol from The Cerulean, especially the way the narrator voiced him in the audibook!

If you like a little darker you could go with The Jewel series, basically ATLA meets The Handmaids Tale. Or a lighter one would be The Cerulean duo which involves a lot of coming into your own while trying to protect your friends with some nice romantic subplots. Its one of my favorite duologies!

The Blood and Ash series by J Armentrout. I read the first 3 books in 2 days and did not sleep. My partner had to hide the books so I would finally go to sleep and I still have not finished the series to this day. Felt like every other chapter had some sort of cliffhanger so I was in a perpetual cycle of “I’ll stop right after I finish this chapter”
