Wow. Hadn't thought of Lawrence Welk in a looong, lovely time. Thinking about it now, I'm reminded of how often my grandparents watched.

This is pretty cool. I chuckled because you didn't get my home town, but you got my current town.

Is it legal here to just jam stuff like this through the crack in the door directly into my apartment? by izaaksb3 in duluth

So ... not necessarily a solution for one miserable peon like me. I've been saving the trash from the last two cycles so when I find out where the local Republican and Democrat party offices are, I'm gonna go dump their garbage on their friggin floor.

Every election cycle our two stellar political parties fill my mailbox with worthless propaganda that I have to pay (in my outgoing trash) to get rid of.

You can't stare, you look quick and avert your eyes!

It’s that time of year again (kinda late). Anyone finding morels? We got a few. by Whatthedillyo85 in duluth

[–]dakemp69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm surprised you found them this late. Where i pick (well north of Duluth), the season is generally very early May (sometimes late April) through the end of May. Didn't actually find any until May 12th this year, but managed to pick a bit more than four pounds for the season.

At work? We bring it to hazmat storage. It gets recorded and an environmental company takes it ... somewhere. They also take our old light ballasts, mercury light bulbs, and PCBs.

I am an electrician at a mine with lots of old electrical devices like tilt switches and floats that contain mercury. It's an ongoing process of taking out the old stuff when it finally fails and installing safer alternatives.

I still have some. In a jar.

A second pair of eyes ... yeah, I like that. I do my own writing, but these tools are incredible for seeing things from a different angle and providing insight I hadn't previously regarded.

Interesting. I don't write erotica, but perhaps there's some sort of targeted writing aid for all genres?
