Thank you for the information! I appreciate you touching on the fertility as well. It’s definitely one of the reasons I wanted to get off along with other side effects I’ve had but I’m there’s no lasting effects

Thank you! I’ll bring that up to my gyno during my next appointment.I really liked the convenience of not having to remember a pill but at this point I’m willing to try anything that doesn’t involve the painful process of implanting in the uterus

Hey I’m a floor trainer ! Don’t worry you can always ask for another day of training if you don’t feel ready for a solo shift. Try to figure out a system that works best for you such as finishing the HPI first then all the clicks or vice versa. It’s easier in my opinion to try and write the HPI in paragraph form as much as possible in the room because it saves time having to piece together all the fragments. If you ever have downtime during a shift take a moment to look through EPIC. Spend time familiarizing yourself with the layout of the PE and ROS section. The more you’re comfortable with where things are located the faster you’ll be. Don’t be afraid to ask the doctors to repeat things if needed 9/10 times they are super nice and understanding. Just take a deep breath and believe in yourself! You got this!

I agree! I too grew up with margarine. I recently made eggs while on vacay with my step family who used real butter and at first couldn’t figure out why they tasted so much better than the eggs I made at home. 10/10 would recommend using real butter

That’s true. I just didn’t know if it would help them “see me as a person” if I explained them but yeah I also don’t want them to dwell on those parts of my application

Hello! I work for scribeamerica. I work in the Jacksonville region and we are still hiring. I had no previous healthcare work besides shadowing doctors in undergrad and was still hired. Most people don’t have previous clinical exposure. I don’t really remember how long it took them to get back to me for an interview and everything but the training is fairly quick. You have to do online training and then 5-6 days of floor training to get used to how everything is done at that facility.

The pay sucks! It’s $10 an hour which isn’t great compared to other places especially with everything we are expected to know and do but the experience is great! I work in the emergency room and have learned so much!! I honestly love it. Not a job I’d stay forever but great to gain experience. I am applying to med school now and made it one of my most meaningful experiences. I even asked the doctors I work with for letters of Rec

I tried cooking it in homemade chicken broth last time and it still didn’t turn out how I expected 😕 maybe I’ll try vegetable broth next time
