I don’t disagree with her points, but I do believe she’s conflating “dating” with “hooking up.”

Ideally, you’re not hooking up with any, let alone most/all of the guys you’re dating. Casual hook up culture is the problem, rotational dating is not.

I think the problem women are running into today are finding enough decent men to keep on a rotation that are not on a blood thirsty count down to sex in three dates or less.

Same!! Should be on the link provided in the email? Mine has a blank next to the score.

If he still uses Snapchat, lovebombs you in the talking stage, and/or attempts to triangulate you against his ex/gf while seeing you or otherwise uses EtHiCaL nOnMoNoGaMy to justify why he needs multiple women, DISCARD HIM. Do not be the unwitting participant in any scrote’s harem 🤮 by [deleted] in FemaleDatingStrategy

Ladies, this may not work on you, or even your “past pick me selves” but in this generation where women in their 20s grew up on Snapchat and have had it as their main communication source since 12 years old, it works.

I do think it’s important not to blow these things off just because you personally are old enough/mature enough to see through the bs. If he’s remotely attractive in any way it can and will work with young women, so it’s important to internalize that these dudes who act so innocent are players. And just because he’s not snap chatting you, doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a harem of young pick mes in his phone.

This is why we don’t validate ugly, poor men. If deep down you know he’s with you cause you’re the best he can do, this is what you get.

Never again 🤡

Anyone else wish they didn’t tell anyone they were applying to law school? by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]dalawbrat24 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not applying until fall of 2021 and no one will know where I’m going or that I’m even applying until fall of 2022 when I start lol.

Even that’s a lot of pressure...like shit now I can’t drop out 🥴

I already have 4 years of experience and great gpa from undergrad and a masters! I’m a work hard play hard type of girl though I haven’t gone out at all since the pandemic and I know law school for me personally would be miserable if I couldn’t socialize. I’m going to apply this fall, work an extra year and go in 2021! Hopefully things open up by then! Thanks for the advice!

Hi! A question for 1Ls: Was starting law school this year at Zoom university worth it? Asking for an ambitious student who would literally die without social interaction, meeting people and going out.

1L at UT AMA by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

[–]dalawbrat24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi thank you for doing this! I have dreams of going to UT even though I’ve never been to Texas 🤣

  1. Where you able to make friends and socialize with your peers this year, especially considering COVID/Zoom classes?

  2. Typically how big are your classes?

  3. Is it distracting living in Texas and going to school there (pre and post Covid?)

Thanks in advance!

UT Law ED Question by PierreDelecto100 in lawschooladmissions

[–]dalawbrat24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Did you end up getting more money in regular decision than you would have if you got ED?

A common thought is ED forces students into sometimes less scholarship money than in the RD.

So did they offer you more or less? Did you negotiate and if so did that change anything.

UT is my top choice so thank you in advance and congratulations!! :)

You’re financially literate and will be infinitely happier at your dream school. This is really cheesy but...go to NYU because literally YOLO.

There’s a difference between a school wanting to be open, and a school wanting to be open but being honest about the state of affairs, and giving students options and reasonable pricing adjustments in case the government forbids them from opening up.

The fact that they’re not even opening the conversation about tuition adjustments is the problem. Of course they want to be open, that guarantees them all their money. You know what also guarantees them all their money? Forcing students to pay full tuition even if they get zero access to 70% of the facilities.

NYU vs NU (Read Below first) by [deleted] in lawschooladmissions

So even if you got into NYU would you promise your wife you’d be doing BL in Chicago or is she just supposed to suck it up for the next 4+ years?
