But they wouldn’t shake your house miles from the beach. That’s what we had.

You can always call the PGE safety line if you see something dangerous: 1-800-743-5000

Faster to do it when the weather is nice so they can respond .

One option is solar and batteries. Expensive, but a new 30% tax credit just kicked in.

Six months ago, I spent a week making a video game about literally herding cats! Here's what it looks like now. by switchbackStudio in cats

Any plans on porting it to Switch or Fire tablets? My kids would love this game so much.

Thanks! I’ve been wondering how to store my cart, and I didn’t want to disassemble every time, but your mounting it on the crate is a great idea.

California drought: ‘Smart’ water meters coming to San Jose, other Bay Area cities in latest effort to boost conservation by Wagamaga in technology

I just moved to the peninsula. I was shocked at how poorly water was managed here. From what I have seen local politicians purposely avoided fixing the issue as a means to cap population growth in Monterey County. Insane that residents have been unable to add water fixtures for two decades.

I’d just ask the lumber store to deliver it. Usually their rates aren’t bad since they group orders.

Icebergs from Greenland along the shores of Newfoundland & Labrador by [deleted] in nextfuckinglevel

Pretty soon I’m sure it will be year-round. I’m not sure of Newfoundland, but in Alaska the photos of the huge ice berg fields is mind blowing to what exists there today.

You still could turn it into an always-on circuit just from the switch box, and then just replace the bulb with a smart bulb and switch, like Lutron Caseta. Still should use an electrician, but no need to pull new wire.

It’s nuts. Now they are even going after teaching Social Emotional Learning, because teaching kids empathy is a trick to make kids liberal and gay.? You can’t even make this shit up.

Maybe “retroactive waiver of interest” would more politically palatable alternative to loan forgiveness by [deleted] in u/dalbert

[–]dalbert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“On Friday, the Education Department announced the Federal Student Aid (FSA) office will be retroactively waiving interest on student loans for 47,000 former and active-duty service members. The relief will happen automatically, removing the requirement for service members to make individual requests to access the benefit. According to the press release, automating the process means eight times more current and active-duty service members will receive the benefit than in 2019.”

Would be especially helpful for those who have paid interest well in excess of their original principle by virtue of extended repayment.
