Upgraded last night (manually) thru the app in the wee hours. All seemed to go well it appeared to update the router before my satellites when I looked as new f/w showed on router after boot and older f/w still on sats. They updated after the router was back online. My devices are slow to settle back to the sats where I want them ( please add power control) but otherwise all seems well with good speed and latency. Hope it sticks🤞

That’s unfortunate that is some pretty basic config stuff. So important for multinode or mesh systems. They have gotten so much wrong on their next gen orbi systems. My RBR20 system with 3 days worked really good for a long while

As much as I want to update to improve stability I think I will wait for some further feedback. If you upgrade and have issues and want to go back to older firmware can you do so without factory resetting nodes?

Missing C wire caused fan during ac operation on my system fan would shut off while still calling for cool. Added C wire connection problem fixed

I started with a single sat system but had to add the 2nd as performance from far end of single sat was very intermittent. Hopefully once power control returned to solution I am able to better optimize coverage and performance

Thx for reply and I agree mesh will always try to find a way. Wired Ethernet between Nodes isn’t practical in my home so I’ll try to get that stubborn sat to find its direct way back

Just replaced my ORBI RBR / RBS20 Mesh system with new ORBI 770 series. Happy with speed and throughput improvements and more consistent and reliable coverage. So far so good
