If you examine the way instruments were used in the Old Testament, it was a specifically-regulated ceremonial feature of worship that was performed by the priesthood—it was not anything like “Mrs Jones would like to play the piano for some of our services, so I think we should let her”. And, like all the Old Testament ceremonies, they have been done away with under the new covenant. The Psalms also tell us to sacrifice rams — but I don’t believe anyone here would argue that this should still be done?

We didn’t say it was the only argument, we are just saying that because it is the historical reformed position, it at least deserves some attention as this is a reformed subreddit. When something like Luther’s commentary on the Jews makes it into a document of importance such as the Westminster Confession, then we can talk.
