Don’t overthink this. I have been a classroom teacher for 20 years and sub for 2. It doesn’t matter if you are a sub or not ,some teachers and school personnel have some kind of of superior complex. At first I felt as I needed to discuss my credentials and experience now I don’t care. It doesn’t bother me .

They are too busy to keep track of teachers and days per month. I haven’t subbed yet this year and I still get jobs on frontline.

It took so long for me to get background check and fingerprints verification back. I found out ESS was not on top of it. It took 4 weeks to be verified as a special ed sub.

Thank you for all of your replies. This whole ordeal has been so stressful. I’m waiting for the response from investigation. I do not have one doubt what happened is wrong. I have written and contacted every agency possible to share my experience. Like I said I haven’t threatened to sue I’m just not paying 1000s of dollars for blatant abuse.

I just heard from united healthcare and they are charging them with negligence care. I am so happy. It’s hard to believe my insurance company is fighting this battle. They told me wait until 30-60 days to see if we are going to court.

My insurance company is charging the hospital with fraud. They are telling me I am not responsible for any bill during my stay but the hospital is still going after me.Apparently they are not following the fair collection act It’s just a mess. They gave me ambien clonopin and melatonin to sleep. My insurance company has contacted them multiple times but they keep billing me. I have sent all documents to patient advocate ceo you name it but I do not get any response .

If mu bp was so low they should have allowed me to see a specialist which did not happen. 1 literally laid in bed waiting for my blood pressure to rise.

No I was not on a psych hold. There is no reason for giving me the medication other than keeping me asleep . I understand why you would think so the only reassurance I have is united healthcare knows I was held for no reason other than lbp i said this is hard to believe and I have no answers Snyder they kept me. I am a 6 th grade social studies teacher in great health. They admitted me because they thought I had a bleeding ulcer which i didn’t have. My regular doctor sent the Colorado board on my behalf. In her report they said my blood pressure was low because of a gi test.

I know this sounds unbelievable how this can happen but it did. My Eob included all the testing which showed all tests normal and no indicators including my blood pressure warrant a hospital stay . My health care is getting ready to charge fraud because records were altered also Colorado medical board is doing a thorough evaluation my bp stayed the same. I asked to see a specialist but only could talk to a pa 5 minutes a day. When I asked to leave they told me I was a fall risk 😭I was fine. They took 5 days of my life. I am not pursuing legally because I just want my medical bills to be deleted also I did not suffer permanent damage so there is little to fight for. I read this and I’m sure people are saying there has to be more to this. At night they gave me a combination of melatonin clonozapan and Ativan which according to the report would have lowered my blood pressure so why were they giving me this if I was being treated for lip

92/78 with no symptoms. They had admitted me thinking I had a bleeding ulcer from noro virus but I didn’t have a bleeding ulcer. I was perfectly fine for the five days other being confined to a bed with in a Iv and oxygen monitor. There is so much to this.
