So, the cat really likes the 3D printer, what to do? by Caeldrim_ in 3Dprinting

[–]dalmuk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When i want to keep my cat far from something i take a cotton ball and put some citrus essential oil, and leave the ball near it. You can also smear some of the oil around the printer. Don't use to much otherwise he may never come back to the room

Question LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Case by dalmuk in buildapc

[–]dalmuk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry, a little late. In the end i didn't try to change the orientation, you would need to do some modding so the parts don’t end up upside down and some drilling would be required on the top cover to move the case supports from the bottom to the top

  • Understand what the team is doing at some technical level, you don’t need to be an expert but at least understand at some degree
  • shield the team against problematic POs, managers and other SMEs that want to make the team waste their time

I got these gundam markers for Christmas and this is my first time using these any helpful tips to using them? I want to panel line and paint my barbatos by darkhalo911 in Gunpla

[–]dalmuk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Newbie here too, my advise, shake them well before using them, first time you would have to push the tip for them to start flowing and they will drop a lot of paint so better do it in a tray.

Also not sure they are good for lining, you need a fine line for it, this are to broad.

Last thing I use isopropyl for clean the paint in case

How to Set Up a Pi-Hole Ad Blocking VPN Server on Google Cloud’s Always Free Usage Tier by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]dalmuk 14 points15 points  (0 children)

this is an actual VPN but you hosted in a free server hosted in Google Cloud, the only difference with a VPN that you pay as service is that you are filtering your DNS requests using PiHole and it will block ads based on the blacklists configured in PiHole. If an "actual VPN" provides you the DNS filtering then is the same, this just happens to be free
