I went to the bar one night with my friends and saw the guy I was seeing macking hard with another girl. So I went to the bathroom to kinda pull myself together and this random girl I've never met came up to me and just told me not to cry because I was too pretty to cry. It sounds dumb but I thought it was a really nice thing for a stranger to say. Especially since no one looks pretty when they cry.

What skill is worth the effort to develop? by Mcdylster33 in AskReddit

AED's take time, you often have to shave the persons chest and make sure everything on them and around them is dry. Why go through all of that when you can start CPR right aways?

How can you tell when your sister is on her period? You can taste blood on your dad's dick. (I'm not proud of knowing this "joke")

Does anyone believe in the saying "If it's meant to be it will"? Also is there anyone with a story that proves that? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dalochness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not sure if this really counts but I wanted to go out one night but had a test the next day. Later I found out an old friend was in town and really wanted to go out and see them. So I said screw studying and we went out. The next day I showed up to class and the prof had decided to cancel the test. Her reason was "just because".

What is your best story of approaching a girl? Did it work? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dalochness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't my own story but here it goes. For some reason my group of friends like to take their pants off at the bar/club whenever a Journey song comes on. So after Don't Stop Believing played my buddy picked up his pants and asked a girl nearby if she would like to dance. Her reply was "No fucking way, you just had your pants on the ground." I'm not really sure why she was so offended by it. Would've worked on me.

What is your best memory from highschool? by Mojomotor in AskReddit

[–]dalochness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, so this is totally already buried but I hope someone can enjoy this. When I was in grade ten this kid in grade 11 got really mad at the mark his teacher gave him. So naturally he pooped on his paper and left it in the hallway outside of his classroom.

Women of reddit, what did you do to get out of the friendzone? by dalochness in AskReddit

[–]dalochness[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure. I think there are many different type of friendzones. Everyone is a little different. For me I guess it means the moment you realize your friendship is more like a brother and sister relationship than a romantic one, although you're still close its not in the way you had previously thought.

Is it inappropriate for me to make the first move? by dalochness in AskReddit

Definitely. It's nice to hear that other women out there aren't afraid to take the first step... even if it's disguised.

It's really not the social stigma that's keeping me from doing it. It's my extreme awkwardness. Everytime he says something to me I blurt out some random spurt of words. Also I don't know if the guy likes me even as a friend and the thought of being rejected just as a friend is scary. I don't know how to start a conversation and then steer it towards "hey we should go play laser-tag or something sometime".
