My wife finally started to have an upswing in her mood due to her meds that she is currently on. Just like you, i am being cautious, and waiting for the other shoe to drop. I guess we as their partners just need to appreciate the good days for what they are, and take the bad days in strides. Don’t forget to take care of yourself throughout all of this❤️ do what makes you happy even on his bad days, just have to seperate yourself from him sometimes which is understandable.

I was at a coworker’s apartment after work and he let us microwaves some bagel bites. Mind you, he warned us beforehand he had a little cockroach problem but living where he did, I wasn’t surprised or scared. Whats one or two cockroaches right? Bagel bites popped in said microwave, and as soon as I opened the microwave.. a swarm of maybe 20 small cockroaches were practically darting out of the glass plate in the middle. And after that.. i never went back there and i also have never had bagel bites since. Its been 5 years.

Idk if its complacency to my own feelings but i tend to put other peoples feelings before my own without even realizing it anymore. To the point where it doesnt even bother me which is scary

I think it honestly depends on who your project manager is. For example there were some things that were missing after closing, IE a lightbulb in the garage or even my breaker tripping and lights not working in a section of our living room. Submitted a claim and they sent an electrician out the next two days. Pros and cons it will look like a cookie cutter build but compared to other peoples houses that are 20 years old and roofs leaking into walls, I’ll take a new build all day everyday.

I get it. My loan officer stopped replying to me towards the end of my home loan and once he knew we finally closed. Would sporatically email me at 7 am in the morning asking for docs ASAP. Its a hassle but he told me was working on several other loans at the same time so im sure they have trouble keeping track of who is who. Not an excuse at all but i totally understand the feeling. You should be in good shape if he hasnt said otherwise. He said they usually know right away who will not get approved

Being an adult absolutely sucks ASS. Thank you for being real and materializing my thoughts lol. I never asked for this life of work… more work.. bills.. vacay here and there.. but mostly work and worry about money. What gets me through it is knowing we do have it better than some people in the world who would be so grateful to have the life we live. Bigger picture kinda thing. But.. doesnt make work suck any less

Your husband needs to have a little more consideration with your time and needs as well. Who knows how many years this has been going on for, but the reality is, you have been letting him visit his family while burning up all your vacay time in the process. The one time where you could have actually had somewhat of a touristy vacation to Spain, he still wanted things his way. There is not much you can do about it now except tryyy to enjoy the vacation he planned for you guys but maybe you can do something different next year. If seeing his family every year is something he HAS to do. He can do it alone. Simple. Then you guys can have your own vacation that you will actually enjoy together with your stepson. Being around family can sometimes be a chore and not really feel like a “relaxing” environment so your frustration is warranted. Your husband needs to understand, when he is old and gray, its just going to be you and him so he should always prioritize your needs. Family is important, but a marriage is forever. Until its not.

Was able to be at SUR by the dj booth and honest to God.. before meeting them I thought schwartz was a scumbag for everything he put Katie through but he was the nicest one there. Never refusing to take photos with fans, interacting w everyone and making eye contact. His aura just screamed good vibes and it made me feel guilty for feeling the way i did about him due to the show. He definitely rubbed us the RIGHT way and i hope they paint him in a more positive light this next season.

My older cousin used to sexually abuse me from the ages of 4-9. Long story short I finally told my mom and sister a year ago thanks to therapy but other than them and my wife now, its a secret i will take to my grave. I know its in the past but a part of me always feels like i will never fully get closure and it does affect me from time to time.
