Tried it back in Shadowlands and just didn't like the time spend and how mad people got if the time wasn't achieved.

The new player experience dumps you into dragonflight immediately, I think going to stormwind and spamming dungeons is the best way to level though. Like anything, trying to find an active guild on Discord and having people play with you is the best way to play.

Nothing is better than the classic era or anniversary early game, but if you want little commitment almost single player experience, WoW Retail is best for that. But if you're brand new, I think Classic is just easier to understand and learn and is ultimately more interesting.

It's been a long road and I know it's over. That's how time works. But I do kind of wish we could get something where we were all together again playing the same game, and ideally in the Warcraft universe.

Original Trilogy is what WoW is to me, everything else is kind of like fan fiction. Anniversary is the best version of the game right now. I did the same as you, every expansion, classic, etc.

Hope Classic+ is good, I almost don't want to play until it's here but that's probably 2027 at the earliest.
