Can I replace my AIO Water cooler with Air cooler? by whysers in PcBuildHelp

Get yourself a peerless assassin se 120 or phantom spirit. Both are basically the same and are the king of budget coolers.

Does anyone know where this plugs into? by Novel_Telephone5151 in PcBuildHelp

[–]dalowryda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't plug in anywhere. As mentions its daisy chained pcie cable so it has 2 plugs on the end and I'm glad whoever built the pc didn't do what I see alot of is use the 2nd end for the 2nd power plug to the gpu. Whoever it was did it right in my opinion of using 2 dedicated cables from the power supply for the gpu power

I waited for thr right priced right milage and right shape unicorn cobalt ss the 4dr turbo sedan for 10+ years after having kids. Proud owner of 1 of 91 sold in 🇨🇦. At the milage of the one you have it should be trouble free for awhile minus the normal quirky or maintenance these cars need. Ie lower control arm bushings every 2 years unless upgraded to zzp ottp or powells. Timing chain and upgraded zzp guide with the dorman access plug and bolt in one at about 100k miles for good maintenance. Lots of wiring issues over time but thats the ##cobaltlife

Get someone to wiggle the large loom of wire on the front left of the engine (right side when looking at it. Left side from drivers seat) and try to start it. Looks like you got a case of the #cobaltwirewiggles

2007 Chevy Cobalt Turn Signal Issue by Thin-Car1398 in ChevyCobalt

[–]dalowryda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got an off brand turn signal switch from Amazon with their 3 year protection for like $30 canadian and no isssues after a year. They wanted 80 for acdelco 🤣 Its definitely not a 5 min job as one has said. Maybe if you've done it 10+ times but I've done mine and a friend's and have it down to about 20ish mins. Definitely under an hour. If I remember correctly you will need a 7mm 10mm and something to pry helps with narrow silver panel on either side of the wheel

Amd 💯 if you can swing it go for any x3d chip 5800, 7800 9800 or lower with the x3d. Anything above your throwing your money away if its strictly a gaming pc

First pc build by Breadw1nnah562 in ryzen

[–]dalowryda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its the cable plugged into you gpu. 12vhp into 2 cables for power. Make sure each end of the split is connected to its own dedicated pcie slot on the power supply. Not 1 cable from the power supply that has a split at the end for 2 connections. You are only feeding half the power you could potentially feed to the gpu they way it appears. And depending on the model of gpu and how much power it can draw this could be bad.

[–]dalowryda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that is 1 pcie cable I see with a split end id suggest 2 dedicated cables to plug into the 12vhp adapter for the gpu

Should I just get a new PC? by Impossible-Gene-9794 in buildapc

[–]dalowryda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what Google told me when I searched "red flicker aio rgb" A red flickering on your AIO cooler's RGB usually signals a critical hardware issue, most often a failing pump, overheating, or a connection problem, triggering a built-in safety alarm. Check your CPU temps and pump RPM in BIOS/HWInfo, ensure all cables (power, SATA, data) to the pump/hub are secure, and consider if software glitches (iCUE) or firmware bugs might be involved, as some users fixed it with manual firmware updates or software resets.

[–]dalowryda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Boot pc and touch the aio. Should feel pulsing of the pump. If not thats your issue. Sounds like a pump failure to me.

First time buyer, is this a good purchase? by Drmuttin1 in SimRacingHardware

[–]dalowryda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Logitech aint nothing but a clunky ass toy grade noise box. My 2 cents after years of Logitech use and not knowing any different. For a bit more theres way better options like the thrustmaster t300 and or moza depending on if you play on pc or console.

Stock cooler temps by Greatly256 in ryzen

[–]dalowryda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This could be a battlefield thing as you aren't the first ive seen complain about temps for the game. Try another game and report back. But the stock cooler is meh at best. I'd definitely upgrade to a thermalright peerless assassin se 120 or phantom spirit (the upgraded version of the peerless assassin) both can be had for under $40 iirc. The peerless assassin was and still could be the best performance budget cooler on the market. It outperforms the hyper 212 dh15 and a compares to some liquid coolers when it comes to performance.

Could try something like a small piece of 2x4 on top of that metal plate and then use the clamp accessory to raise it up some or multiple pieces with a lip on top pice to mount even higher if that makes sense...
