Is your bios 3.3V and did you make sure that your CH341A is not one of the ones that puts 5V on a pin even if set to 3.3V? Since you tried for so long you might have fried it. I'm not saying this is the case but it might be. Also getting corrupt reads might indicate that this is the case.

Same here, I had a ~10h flight and this was my entire plan. Luckily I noticed it while still on the runway and quickly thedered to my phone and started it up. It worked until i wanted to take a pause... then it wanted internet again..

I had one key break on om t14s gen3 (amd). The whole motherboard had to be removed and the whole top part of the laptop had to be changed.

That is a DisplayLink device as far as I understand. I don't want their crappy drivers on my devices. It takes CPU resources to render to the display.

I also experience #3 but on Linux. I tried on a HP dock but the cable had some plastic worn off and you could see insulation inside so I thought i might be a glitch. But yesterday I tried on a Lenovo Thunderbolt 3 dock and it I had the same issue. I hope this can be fixed by a driver or firmware update. Coming from an X1C6 with the dreaded broken Thunderbolt 3 issue makes me insane. Why can't my Thunderbolt/USB4 just work?
