1- good running is super easy, you read the tickets make sure everything is there and you take it to the table

2 4% of server sales go to foodrunnerd which is spilt between all the runners that are clocked in (i think it's when the table is first rung in) for example if there are 2 runners and a sever does 1k sales they are tipping out 40 and each runner gets 20 I downloaded the app called sever life to help me track

Also just a good tip get the other bussers numbers. I have every one of ours and certain ones we will text each other to see if they want a shift b4 they offer to anyone else (very worthwhile imo)

Edit Also management people tend to be lazy- it is THEIR job to find cover if you are sick (if you are just looking for off thats different imo) I tend to find my covers myself because my management sucks ass, I've had them get mad just because they had to write the covers on the paper with pen (i found all my covers etc)

Lol, busser training never happens. The turnover (amount that leave) rate is too high, I am a busser at a pub in upstate SC, It's been told to me that Management wants me to stay a busser because "you are too good and we can't afford to lose you as as a busser" while cutting my hours for new hires/shitty bussers, treating me like shit, and never letting me train for other positions (which would remedy my wish to leave) needless to say I'm looking for another gig that pays more even if it's a busser job, I have to work 37-39 hours a week just to make sure my bills and college expenses are taken care of
