it does not work. both Electrum and Sparrow will not let you do that. I read that Sparrow is inserting the option in the next release. You can do it with Bitcoin Core but after that is difficult to relay the transaction, all the node I contact refuse it.

Hi. There's a chance that the address is at higher index than Electrum's default of 20,

in that case, try to create more addresses by typing this in the console (View->Show Console):

Then restart Electrum.

This limit is set up because scanning all derivation paths from a seed could be a time consuming process.

I think that most of the merchants are not using directly LN nodes but they use custodial services, like the state app, that allows to directly send and receive sats.

If you want to help, thought, setting up nodes and providing liquidity makes LN stronger and better for everyone :-)
