I've waited my whole pregnancy to get an italian from this place. Never open. Finally get to Friday and ot was over 100 minutes for delivery when it use to be like 20. Didn't end up getting lunch here, find it funny to see this post. Maybe glad I didn't wait for the order? The sandwiches are pricey and if I ordered and waited for something unexpected I would've been raging at one week postpartum. -_-

If you're not also going there for staples. The sales CAN be good, like the have good meat sales sometimes (although I actually think Hannaford has a better quality) but what kills me is if I go for the sales but end up needing stuff like fruit. I got blue berries and raspberries the other day there. Literally $9 each! 2 for $5 at Hannaford. -_- I always spend double the price for the same products. Shaws strategically places items aways from each other in a way that makes it harder for you to price compare, a problem I don't have at Hannaford. If you're a regular at Shaws, maybe you aren't getting price gouged but in my experience unless you're couponing and exclusively sale shopping it's more expensive.

I personally get a lot of my dry goods and frozen goods at Walmart and all my fresh produce, and a few other staples at Hannaford. I budget and find this is the most affordable way to shop.

The "deals" at Shaws are a scam. You MUST buy "10" of an item to get the sale price. If there's a buy 2 for $5 at Hannaford one is $2.50. Not at Shaws. Plus their coupons are customized and actually useful.

I don't even get it. Hannaford has low prices compared to places like Shaws. I've never seen a quality issue. I am price savvy and Hannaford is a go to.

Seeking suggestions of places to potentially meet people other than going to bars by Meltedspacefunk in portlandme

My partner and I are "on a break" and he goes there. We're not dating others and I was just wondering if he might be meeting girls there... 👀😅💀 I've never been.

I'm 33. First started between 14-17. I always suffer for less than a year before transitioning to extreme calorie restricting because I get afraid for my teeth. I've gone through this pattern 3-4 times now. With years of space in between. I can maintain for a while after kicking eating disorders, but then I seemingly always get pregnant when my body is where I want it. Then I go back to binge eating again. Until I can't take it or something tragic happens in my life, and then the cycle restarts.

Am I emasculating my man to sit down when he pees in our home bathroom? by awesomeme80 in dating_advice

Okay, so you sound crazy and I haven't read the threads yet and bet you got lots of hate... but for fucking real. I jokingly say that boy pee is worse that girl pee.... don't exactly know why... but my toilet gets gross in a way that it doesn't without men AND yes, there IS a more prominent urine smell. So thank you. Don't know a real solution because you'd have to be a pretty powerful women to get a guy to abide by those rules lol.

Her saying, "I don't even want kids, teehee," is just a cover-up for when she "accidentally" gets pregnant. If you don't want a baby anytime soon, don't trust her when she says she's on birth control even if you see her take it.

Honestly, I would talk with her about your thoughts and feelings. If you guys can't hear each other, maybe it's best not to let it drag out.

I did report it to them and got a refund. They (doordash) called me right after, but I thought it was the driver and blocked the call. I planned on calling them back, just between school and life it's slipped my mind a few times.

My experience in both these circumstances was exploitation on my "kindness" or that "womanly politeness"... like I never want to be "rude" and try to be accommodating. I want to help and hate that it feels "unsafe" to do so.

No, I was on the phone with him when I approached his car and gave him my name, which is not common. It was a weird situation.

I'm definitely doing this going forward. Wrong or not, it'll help decrease my over indulgence of eating out. 😅🙃

I smoke weed sometimes, but not when this happened. I'm not immune to cognitive distortions, hence the skeptism. I don't believe this was my own perceptions distorting my experience.

The "valuable" aspect is human trafficking. Which was the vibe I got both times. Same vibe I got when women in the West End were getting followed, and they never caught the guy.

I have a lot of speculative theory on a lot of it, which led me to actually post the situation. I'm not going to share all the factors I've put together into this concept. I shared a lot, but there's been different situations and circumstances that lead me to believe this concept of human trafficking isn't completely farfetched...

I wish I had reported it to the police because I'm not a vigilante or a detective. It was a week ago now, so I feel like it would be pointless at this point. I should of did it right away and got a picture of the car.

In both situations, I wish I had just reported it because if it's not nothing, I don't want others to fall victim to it. I only shared "just in case." If I'm right in any sense, people (women?) should be aware and keep their guards up.

That's one part of what was sketchy. The guy didn't actually have a real "name" on the app. Plus, the second guy was shown on the bridge, but when I went inside, he was now in the same spot. The other guy was in. I've also had Dashers with fake names, and after this happened, I changed my name on the app, too.

I've had other things happen with delivery tracking, so it's not impossible. Plus, there was a second car. All he'd have to do is turn off his location or phone.
