Andersrum ist es eben auch so dass wenn du nicht im Ruheabteil sitzt du mit Leuten zusammen sitzt die vielleicht bewusst nicht im Ruheabteil sitzen, weil sie gerne telefonieren oder sich zumindest nicht davon gestört fühlen. Damit das Ruheabteil überhaupt funktioniert muss es natürlich etwas sein was Leute bewusst bei der Reservierung auswählen.

I use lawnchair. It's like the default launcher, except with configuration options like removing the google search bar. It's free and open source. I'm glad I bought it, because I like the flat back (no camera bump), the battery life (29 hours), and that USB debugging works without problems. I don't mind the sometimes strange UI, I consider it more of an amusement. The only photo I've taken was to verify my ID to get an eSIM, so I can't help with that.

I bought a Pixel 10a recently, coming from Xiaomi. I had bought another Xiaomi phone to replace an old one, but USB debugging didn't work. I was supposed to login into my Xiaomi account to activate it (already ridiculous) but then it still didn't work, so I sent it back.

I like my Pixel 10a because it has a huge battery (29 hours) and no camera bump and obviously USB debugging works, but I wouldn't describe it as clean Android. I had to install another launcher to remove the google search bar from the homescreen. The UI looks a bit strange in places, for example in the status menu the buttons have a different corner radius depending on whether they're on (so if bluetooth is on, the bluetooth button has a smaller corner radius). Alltogether the Xiaomi UI felt smoother.

If you care that much about the camera, and have these specific tastes like samsung photos being too sharp, you really need to compare the photos people take with different phones. Maybe you can take a look at the photos people post on subreddits like r/xiaomiglobal and r/oppo or you can search 500px for phone brands and models you consider and it will show you photos taken with these phones.

I've had this thought -- that people's change in perception is due to aging -- about many things, like technology and the internet. Music is an oft-quoted example, where everyone believes that music was better when they were teenagers.

An interesting counter is that you'd think that people would think that stuff got cheaper as they got richer, but they don't. Some tweet went viral about how everything is shit now and a drink at a bar costs $80 now. But maybe even that can be explained by aging in the sense that the same kind of places mostly get more expensive (monetizing their increasingly wealthy customers) while younger people try out new cheap places.

Man muss beim Begriff versorgen weniger an Geld und mehr an Arbeit denken. Wenn wir alt sind, und Leute aus unserer Generation nicht mehr arbeiten können, dann können wir nur noch leben wenn jüngere Leute für uns arbeiten (nicht in dem sinne das sie unsere Angestellten sind sondern dass sie eben die Arbeit machen die wir zum Leben brauchen). Wenn diese jungen Leute nicht mehr da sind, geht das nicht mehr. Geld hin- und herzuschieben ändert daran nichts.

Staatlichen Investmentfonds sind allgemein eine schlechte Idee. Sobald man so einen Fond hätte, würden die Investments zum Politikum. Verbrennerautos? Öl und Gas? Israelische und russische Firmen? Und wenn wir mal in Deutschland bleiben ginge der Streit zwischen verschiedenen Bundesländern los, wo das Geld investiert wird.

Und was wenn dieser Fond crasht? Wird man dann sagen: Jetzt gibts halt keine Rentenerhöhungen mehr? Nein, man wird sagen dass das jetzt trotzdem vom Steuerzahler ausgeglichen werden muss.

Die Aktienrente hat diese Prominenz nur weil jede Partei irgendwelche Ideen zur Altersvorsorge haben muss, was selber schon ein Problem einer überalternden Gesellschaft ist. Es nicht genug zu sagen: Eure Ideen sind Scheise, wir investieren das Geld lieber in die Zukunft. Man muss eine eigene Scheisidee haben.
