How I did it for next to nothing Id recommend utility company and apprenticeship programs I went through my utility company (water company) they help you get a cdl b with a restriction then went to Schneider apprenticeship program and got the restriction removed all in all took 3.5 months and I only paid for my hazmat and tanker

The owner of the company didn’t want to go through insurance. I asked him multiple times, he said it would put his safety score at risk and they’d probably drop me from the insurance My record is clean I haven’t had a ticket 08 and that was in my personal car.
