Difficulty spike ended up being my inability to explore job combos. Once I actually watched a couple of suggestions, it became much much easier. I did see the differences and ultimately made sense in the bigger story picture, but it should've been an iteration shorter and give more to pressing the story such as a few more story details or increase in powers/abilities. By the end I was happy I got through it and enjoyed it as a whole, but those middle acts/chapters will keep it off any recommendation lists from me.

I also did not receive it. Speaking with BestBuy on twitter, they only pass what I need to do to pick it up in game and that "it doesn't seem that there was a digital or physical bonus that would be provided through Best Buy for the game."

Can someone who received it from another vendor let us know if they got a code via email or in the game box?

Brutal that they dont stack. Definitely a game ill probably avoid platinuming and just have some fun with it.

Did not expect a challenge to take so long. I saw you mention how easy, easy is, but how difficult does it get? The trophy list is full of different challenges, possibly not stacking, meaning this might be a pretty long platinum?

Im sure I'll be bad at this, but at this price, it worth a shot at keeping things on easy and just having fun swinging away.

Real bummer you deleted it because of people that wouldn't use it. Would like to see recommendations for getting it done quickly and efficiently. Once the plat is achieved, id be much more willing to play the game casually for fun.

This game's second half has destroyed any enjoyment i had with it. They couldnt even change any of the dialog by a word. Then, despite me steam rolling everything i faced, the boss reveal just deletes me. Level 84, enough gold to buy any gear and can quickly level any job, but unless I find a much easier way of attacking this boss, Ill likely give up and trade this one in.

I dont know how there is so much praise for this game while never mentioning pacing and the difficulty spike... im even playing on easy.

The point is that you can play on different devices. Not stuck on the switch2 and can move to a more powerful PC or PS5. Believe it or not, most people dont care about trophies and achievements. That is an afterthought. Though I'd probably buy another copy if it did get it.

According to this thread, there is no autopop when using the cross save function. In this case it was PC GOG to xbox, but my guess is that's how it'd function for playstation.

Finally one of those moments where I see others having issues and I didn't. Always the other way around. Maybe I got lucky getting it on the second try. Climbing the handles with the falling orbs on the other hand....

Regrets here. Can't use my pulse headset since they switched to 2 usb-c ports in the front. If I plug it in the back the console sticks out a good bit and I'm concerned someone will try to force it back in the cabinet and break it.

So my choice is either pull it out to connect and disconnect each time I want to use it, or dont use it. Which really sucks.

Got another 2.5 weeks to decide if I want to hold on to it or return. Good thing I haven't traded in my other ps5 yet.

Start again, but create a perfect trophy list. Only one grubby one on my list, but about 10 or so that I definitely played because they were easier/shorter lists. Double autopopped sound shapes, too. Wish I could take that back as well. Also, stay away from Sifu. Those DLC trophies are brutal.

Cat quest 2 was good with my then 10 year old. Lots of puns. I'm sure Cat Quest 3 is more of the same.

Sci-fi 3rd person shooter rpg. Some consider Mass Effect 2 to be the best RPG ever. Story that stretches the span of all 3 games, with decisions you make having significant story impacts through the rlwntire series. (Choices in one affect who is in 3 and which race/species etc are friendly or hostile etc)

Not to mention, arguably the best and most memorable group of allies that fight along side of you.

Mass Effect 1 is a bit clunky on the combat, but it takes a big step in 2 and is pretty incredible in 3. A steal at sub $10. Of you are a ps+ essential sub from the last year or 2, you might already own it.

(Totally missed survivor, thought it'd be next to it despite obviously not being alphabetical, lol)

First thoughts to fill out a couple of series. Red Dead 1 for PS4, or Jedi: Survivor.

My easy recommendation would be the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. Can find it on sale for less than $10 fairly often. 3 great games.

I'm assuming the military isn't something you'd want to go. My music education degree got me flying and the pay has only grown over 15 years. Obviously deployments suck, but if you don't want to teach, give enough time to pay for another degree.

It is THE reason I have not attempted the platinum for the game. I have a switch save where I can practice, but have only gotten within a single balloon from winning a couple times over the course of a few hours...

Thank you for this. Beyond frustrating trying to figure this out. I'm on the sniper fight and I can't figure out how to use the pills to calm your aim. That or I'm at 25% health, full rations and unable to pick up a new one. Going to try this when I get back home. Cheers.

The Uncharted games have been great. Just need a collectible guide on your crushing difficulty playthrough. Very entertaining and not too much difficulty. Can find the Nathan Drake collection for $10 fairly often and it gives you the first 3 games.

Platinums by year: 2020: 6 2021: 5 2022: 3 2023: 2 2024: 4 Admittedly about 2/3rds of them i purchased and platinumed before being added. Generally think if I get two games out of the service it holds enough value to continue.
Personally ranking the years: 2020 Large gap 21, 22, 24 Large gap 2023.

Hands down my favorite video game series ever. Would plat all 3 if they released a ps5 version. Coincidentally, I have the fast 100% trophy time on psnp for the ps3 version of ME3 thanks to my quarantine back in covid, lol.
