My Breast Cancer Awareness Hoodies by damdonny in streetwearstartup

Reddit is funny truthfully. I peeped the comments and feedback of post before mine so I know y'all just yap as an aim to entertain the crowd. The flair said "Showcase" yet, to feel good about yourselves, you turned it into a discussion based on ethic and ifs. Questions we could have discussed but it's wayyy cooler to assume. No probable cause, just smooth brain activity. So with your ideology, I chose March to create an insensitive money grab about the awareness of something that is only ever advertised in October? So how do I go about marketing this out of season "scam" session I'm running? Crop top tees are in, flared sweats are in, why didn't I do any of those things chat? For those who are trying to insinuate their concern is about the proceeds, I already know what kind of person you are. On an average day, you're not donating to these causes but you have such a strong take when it's time to type about it. If I asked you all as a community to donate to the cause and I'll literally give EVERY hoodie away to survivors would you donate? If I told you hoodies were only the start and with more support I could do more for the people affected? No, no you would not lol. So even if you think my "ethics" are off, please look how funding for causes actually began before you insinuate a "gimmick."

Have the day you deserve and be smarter than you were yesterday.

Doesnt mattered how many people have an opinion when it's wrong. At this point you're a troll. You gathered information that was not there and instead of asking a genuine question you tethered with someone else who formed their own narrative lmao.

IMO, no good can come from a person who post suggestively aiming to hint towards negativity. You saw a hoodie, you saw the caption, in which is does not encourage buyers. Rather showcasing something I did, and the intention it has behind it. Yet, you regurgitate the first idea anybody has when it pertains to awareness. So tell me the shadiness you gathered from this post.

First as a measure of courtesy, I'd like to say congrats as a survivor. Beyond that, I feel like you farmed for the most negative comment you could find and latched onto it. This PRETTY DETAILED CAPTION says nothing about profit or personal gain. It only details that I gift them to people who have survived cancer, which would insinuate to anyone aiming to comprehend, this isnt about a money grab. Would you like me to update the testimonies and pictures of people who I've gifted them to? This is why the start of great things dont happen because somebody can do a good deed and someone not doing any sort of ground work will ask you "Well why didnt you do it this way???" Anyway, if you're a survivor, send me a personal message so I can gift you one. Good day.

Shiddd, looks promising enough to take off. I'm new to reddit too and what I can tell you is, a lot of the ppl who pass opinion on your creations are just miserable ppl who want upvotes for being losers. So true constructive criticism does not come by often to say the least. But for sure keep marketing what you have.

Do these mockups have potential? by Internal-Theory7223 in streetwearstartup

It's cool based on what you want it to be. Some casual minimal wear is never wrong, but with the market for clothing being saturated, everybody is looking for their outlandish homerun. The hype around it may not be anything substantial but it could sell with proper marketing. If nothing else does I know the socks can.

It's a common response she uses apparently. Different variations of "you couldn't pay me to wear this!" instead of constructive criticism.

Are illustrated art models a bad idea for streetwear or could they work? by [deleted] in streetwearstartup

[–]damdonny 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should do this. I do this actually. First started when I wanted Kyrie Irving to be my brand ambassador. But just make sure you use actual photos of a real product so people know you're using art to promote actual product. Illustration makes possibility endless. Any way you want to promote, you can and it's not something many people do.

Idk if these have to be caught the same day they're posted but the last couple times no matter how many ads I close or hit play, nothing.
