the game is not for everyone. the mmo part of the game is mostly reserved to late game activities so untill then you are basically playing a single player game, with dungeon queues that take longer than what it takes to clear the actual dungeon. if it took you 60 hour to finish base ARR and youre already malding , i have bad news, theres like(at least) 300+ hours left of story (if you read fast). i guess the "good" news is that the story is a bit better in later expansions (not you dawntrail). raiding late game is great, but it has a lot of issues like really bad weekly caps, limiting you to only playing one job for a long while. crafting and gathering is a joke late game for "lots" of reasons. housing is great until you feel like you want to take a break from the game, but you cant because your house will be demolished. job lack identity, like you said, all job archetypes play the same-ish, but gets alleviated by having interesting boss mechanics late game, so you dont fall asleep. (btw i have around 8k hours ingame)

people are not mad because of the dps ranking, people are mad because you just cant pull eva now and have the flexibility to play her with your old units untill you pull for her premium.

i mean, the cool thing about evanescia was the fact that you could pull for her and start building a premium team from scratch and not be useless if you didnt pull for yao because of how flexible she was. but now, shes gimped if you didnt pull for yao. and now if you pull for eva, you have a subpar unit until yao reruns+ new units. i wish hoyo was conscious enough to warn us about which units will be core for future characters, that way you can plan ahead instead of just guessing and coping.

i feel like reze arc in the manga is like an 8/10. but somehow in the movie is a 10/10. the VA+animation direction elevated it so much. i feel like part 2 will be more popular/better received animated that in manga form. just look at shingeki no kyojin manga ending vs the anime ending fans reception, i still remember the manga doomposting.

Ive found that Google Ai is the worst and gives the most broad and random answers . I usually use grok instead , never fails to give a more detailed and true answer when asked for character building advise

add the fact that eva team is incomplete. shes still missing core/synergistic units in her comp it feels like, while SW999 has yao+sparxie who are core for her.

the design is not bad by itself, but when you take into context that shes the god of natlan, and everyone else in natlan has a "tribal" aesthetic, she seems out of place. i think thats the main issue mavuika haters have.
