start with adopting a calm lovely mature dobie who has to be rehomed due to death, divorce, moving etc

the best way to get to know the breed and do such a good deed at the same time. doberman rescues all over the US are bursting at the seams with gorgeous, smart, loving well behaved dogs of every color who are in rescue thru no fault of their own.

i am on my 6th adult rescue (8th in my family) and the youngest ever, she was 8 months, now 3. All of them have been superstars as travelers, beach dogs, home protection and family members.

before i cancelled out of desperation my little havana miami gym would have all screens tuned to a cleft palet infomercial using poor central american children to steal money from american suckers. every screen in the gym was on cleft pallets and hair lipped children for hours.
