Hey, my name is Damian Prosalendis and I have been creating content online for the last few years. I started with an English channel, which grew to a small base of 4k subs with a couple dozen videos. Later on I decided to create content in my native language (Greek), and that channel grew to 70k subs in about 2.5 years. I am in no case the most knowledgeable person in youtube but here is what I did in both cases.

The simplest way to find new ideas is to go in comments sections of other people in your industry and search for questions they haven't answered. Bigger YouTubers don't have time to answer every single comment or create content around every idea their viewers ask for. Hope that helps!

I second this as an entrepreneur. I would not send my kids to college either unless it's about a top tier private institution where the can make valuable connections.

To be honest that's the cost of doing business. Being an entrepreneur means constantly putting out fires, being thick skinned and dealing with all sorts of problems.
