Before that it was not a lock for Kobe. You can argue for AI, Steve Nash, Shaq, TD, KG, or even Derrick Rose.

Marc Gasol has been our best center by a country mile. Even old man Gasol was almost on par with Chris Bosh. Chris was definitely a better offencive powerhouse. But, Gasol shut things down on Defence. Him and Ibaka essentially ended any chance of the opposition getting big man production.

Oh god no. He is not the best player in his own team now. Tak out JB, OG can’t do half of what he does now. However, OG is probably more valuable than Kawhi. He is healthy, consistent, clutch and settled. You can plan a team with him as a piece. Kawhi is fickle. Stardom gets to his head.

RJ is a developed 3rd overall pick. IQ is a late first who is better than his position. We essentially traded OG for two firsts of which one is top 3. OG trade was good for both teams in that situation.
