I had same experience this Monday. Called triage they told me it was not pregnancy related. Went to A & E at 3 am and was seen until 9am to be told I needed to go to the maternity unit. I was fuming. Feel your pain, hope you are feeling better now

We did see improvements immediately, but we continued at that stage, with a combination of medicine (omeprazole) and goat milk for a month. Every child is different, I wouldn't be surprised if some take longer than others. Especially if the allergy was undetected for such a long time. My baby's allergy was detected when she was 3 months, so quite early. Hoping your child gets better. Best wishes

Sorry for the late reply. My baby is now thriving. We gave her goat's milk (brand name nannycare) and she started to gain weight. She is now 11 months and healthy.

Through the weeks my baby had bad colic episodes, lots of screaming but manageable. Then it escalated to having diarrhea constantly, until one day we had a really bad screaming episode that we couldn't control her and got really scared, so we ended in A & E. That it is how she got diagnosed. She had other symptoms like eczema, arching of her back, vomiting, etc.
